About a month ago Lenovo teased everyone with news of a forthcoming 18.5-inch all-in-one nettop and it is now available to buy on Lenovo.com
The C100 is an all-in-one desktop PC powered by Intel’s cheap and power thrifty Atom processor, ala nettop. Priced in the same range as netbooks, the nettop offers a larger screen and potentially more expansion than netbooks for those who don’t need portability.
The Atom processor is a bit different from that in a netbook. The Atom 230 model available currently in the C100 is rated at a max power draw of 4 watts, compared to 2.5 for the N270 in netbooks, and supports 64-bit operating systems. Another model should be available with an Atom 330, a dual core version of the 230 that appropriately draws up to 8 watts.
